Engineered Flexible Products, Inc. now carries a
new and improved braided hose. These are used most often
as connectors for heat pumps, fan coil or other equipment
requiring a durable hose. Unlike our competitors,
our product utilizes a cone seat rather than a gasket for
an improved connection and more reliable assembly. Our
hoses are leak-free and ensure that you won’t have to adjust,
replace, or worry about problematic gaskets again.
The E-flex is made with
a braided stainless steel covering. This design is flame retardant,
controls vibration
and noise, and allows for great flexibility to prevent kinks
and increase liquid flow. This design is also ef fective at
accommodating of fset pipe motion.
An EPDM core, reinforced with stainless steel braid, is
used in this model to provide maximum strength, flexibility,
and the ability to per form in high temperatures. The
EPDM core with the stainless steel covering ensures a
water-tight and flexible connection with extremely strong
and reliable materials.
Also, the brass hose connectors are permanently attached
to prevent leaks caused by loosening bands and
clamps.
The E-flex’s swivel end simplifies the installation,
flushing and draining of piping assemblies.

IMPORTANT: If it is necessary to retighten the
assembly after
installing, take the same precautions upon disassembly
with regard to twisting, kinking and bending.
During Storage: Avoid storage near sources of ozone
such as electric motors and fluorescent lamps. If possible,
store in places sheltered from light and possible damage.
It is recommended to leave them in their factory packing
before use.
Maintenance: E-flex Connectors
require no field adjustments and have no serviceable parts. No
maintenance is required.

using ethylene glycol or propylene glycol and
water. Other additives may effect compatibility.
